Bluegenes' Bea2bombers Wingman, a magnificent grey male out of the Gray Alpaca Co's renowned breeding program, is back in the USA! His first two crops born in the US hit the ground on our farm in 2022-3 and we are THRILLED! After a brief but very successful show career in the United States, Wingman was exported to Canada by Alpagas Sutton where he continued to pile up the blue ribbons along with a championship. More importantly, he then continued his success in his breeding career and has consistently produced extremely high quality offspring - mostly in classic grey (17 out of 27 for 60%). Wingman's sire is none other than Bea-2 Bomber (.38 Special) who has become one of the most influential grey males in the country for the past decade. Wingman has a beautiful head and a typey, compact frame with heavy bone that packs on a ton of beautiful light silver grey fiber exhibiting fineness, uniformity and brightness. It also displays a well-defined, high frequency crimp and an amazing staple length. We could not have chosen a better male to anchor our restart in breeding outstanding greys and proudly offer him for stud servicel.
